"The Border Rifles" is an early French western with a Canadian main character, an American slave-hunting villain, an escaped enslaved person, Indians, Mexicans, and much more. It's an interesting story with the backdrop of a magnificent event in American history, the independence of Texas from the intolerable yoke of the Mexicans.
