"All's for the Best" is a faith inspired novel on the subject of why God allows suffering in human lives?' It is told in a story form as a consequence of a conversation between two friends. When Mr. Fanshaw, a middle aged man bemoans his own "lack of faith in anything", his friend Mr. Wilkins sets on trying to remind him about faith in God's divine providence. He takes him to see an old friend, a man who had once been wealthy, but who through the treachery of another had lost his fortune to him. And as they listen to his story, Fanshaw's skepticism turns to optimism when he hears of how the seeming misfortune had turned out for the better in the man and his family's life…
